Gemma Feliu, Director of Social Impact and Mediation at Sogeviso, participated on 4 July in the round table discussion “The problem, repercussions of and solutions to squatting in Spain” organised in the city of Valencia by the Valencian section of the Spanish Association of Public Housing and Land Managers (AVS). It reflected on the problem of squatting in the management of both public and private housing stock. All participants shared, from different perspectives, the need to address the problem of the lack of social rental housing in Spain.
In addition, the report “Squatting in Spain 2023”, produced by the Institut Cerdà, in which Sogeviso has actively collaborated, was presented at the conference.
