Banco Sabadell’s rental housing management company will carry out the marketing and management of the properties that will begin to be delivered at the end of 2026
Sogeviso’s professional staff will provide Urbania with a comprehensive leasing service for more than 300 residential properties at below-market prices
Sogeviso has reached an agreement with the real estate project management company Urbania to oversee the management and administration of the residential rentals at affordable prices of the 319 homes that will be built in five developments in the province of Alicante – where Sogeviso has its head office – and which will be available to the public from 2026. These developments will be located in the municipalities of Alicante, El Campello and San Juan.
Specifically, Sogeviso will handle marketing, tenant management, administration and coordination of the maintenance of the property assets, which will be offered to young people and middle-income customers in general at below-market prices, as they are part of a social housing scheme.
Sogeviso’s Chief Executive, Javier Berdié, emphasised the company’s commitment to this project: “This is our first affordable rental project as part of a public-private partnership in the Community of Valencia, an area where Banco Sabadell has a significant presence, and we can already say that we will be expanding the volume in the near future. The fact that Urbania places their trust in us is a privilege that endorses the steps we are taking as the number one affordable housing management platform by portfolio project volume”.
Jeffrey Sújar, Managing Partner & CEO of Urbania Living, said: “we are excited to have Sogeviso on board for this journey to address the challenges of access to housing in the Community of Valencia. This is a project that demonstrates the success of the collaboration of the different public and private actors involved, in the common challenge of increasing the stock of affordable housing in Spain”.
Urbania secured a surface right in 2023 to develop and manage affordable rental housing for 55 years – which can be extended to 75 – in a tender issued by the Entidad Valenciana de Vivienda y Suelo (Valencian Housing and Land Entity – EVha) of the Generalitat (Regional Government), which is the owner of the land on which these homes will be built. The first homes are expected to be delivered by the end of 2026.
