Within the framework of its social contract and job placement programme (JoBS) for vulnerable customers of Banco Sabadell, Sogeviso has launched the Pathfinder programme, which aims to provide digital resources and training to these vulnerable customers with access to training and the job market in order to better their socio-economic circumstances, particularly given the widening of the digital divide caused by the impact of COVID-19.
As part of this Pathfinder project to reduce the digital divide for vulnerable families, Sogeviso has signed an agreement with the Mobile World Capital Foundation (FMWC in its Spanish initials), a non-profit organisation that aims to promote the digital transformation of society, helping to improve people’s lives around the world.
The collaboration agreement between the FMWC and Sogeviso establishes that through its 5G programme, the former will collaborate in the promotion of the Pathfinder programme by providing technological devices to the programme participants, as well as promoting the participation of partners interested in the Pathfinder initiative, disseminating its social intentions and managing their possible participation in the future.
